Given book covers the field of economic, social and political aspects of Central and South-Eastern European countries development in the European Union, which was enlarged by the entry of five new member states – Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic (since May 2004) and later next two full members – Bulgaria and Romania (since January 2007). Authors describe system transformations and institutional harmonization that must have been realized within the frames of entry requirements fulfillment, investigate the influence of the EU legal regulations and rules on social-economic development of new member states, consider domestic political situation of mentioned-above countries in the movement of their membership in the European Union.
