The set contains 7 academic reports, consolidated by a joint theme – the problem of economic development and regional integration of the CIS states, which have become the objects of European neighborhood Policy (ENP).
Specific character of a new format of the relations of the expanded EU with the CIS countries has been examined. The tendencies of economic development and foreign connections in six countries, located in "neighborhood belt", such as the Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia are analyzed.
The study provides an assessment of influence the EU neighborhood factor exerts on Russia- CIS states’ relations.
