The statement analyzes such debating points of post-communist transformation analysis methodology as the notion of "transition", initial and final points of transformations, completeness criteria of transformation period.
One of sustainable stereotypes in perception of socio-economic transformations lies in narrowing the scope of subject to nation-state framework. Revealing limitation of such approach, the author offers original methodology of transformation processes multi-level analysis, stipulating, along with study of national transformation models, study of regional and global changes, which exert impact thereupon. Upon the basis of offered methodology a new type design of post-communist countries, completeness criteria of post-communist transformations are developed.
