2004-12-09: 14th Economic Forum
On September 9–11, 2004 in Krynica (Poland) in the framework of the 14th Economic Forum which motto is "European Challenges - Security, Solidarity, Efficiency", IIEPS RAS chaired a panel on "Russia: From Oligarchic Capitalism towards Bureaucratic Capitalism".
The yearly Economic Forum in Poland enjoys an established reputation as a gathering of politicians, businessmen, researchers, media representatives from Central and Eastern Europe. The main objective of the Forum is to create a friendly atmosphere and a more favorable fundament for co-operation between countries of the region.
