The Centre for Comparative Studies of Transformation Processes

Head of the centre - Dr. (Econ.) Vardomsky Leonid Borissovich, researches in regional economic problems within the context of globalization and international regionalization, particularly, the impact exerted by foreign economic connections on the development of regions of Russia and CIS countries. He is an author of papers on regionalization problems of post-Soviet space and separate regional groupings of the CIS. He also researches the issues of frontier and inter-regional cooperation of the CIS and EU countries.
